Being a level two administrator one of my primary roles is to lead and manage projects within ITD, and other technical projects within the university. I mentor, teach, and lead new and less experienced administrators and other ITD staff.Lead administrator on lync, exchange, office 365, active directory, azure active directory, hyper-v cluster, Microsoft DNS, and all the supporting software and hardware.Configure and manage Citrix Netscalers that support the Microsoft environment.Architect and manage all Microsoft applications and servers. Top level support for everything/anything Microsoft related.Implement and manage hardware that supports the Windows environment.

Managed eight technicians, and overseen 28 tech coaches that are involved with the technology department.Worked closely with the Chief of Technology on budgets, purchasing, technology planning, evaluating employees, and other administrative functions.Responsible for all work orders being completed in a timely manner and prioritizing them as needed.Worked closely with multiple departments on a variety of projects to ensure equipment compatibility and policy compliance. Implemented and maintained all routing and switching equipment, around 360 devices which connected 28 sites with a 1 GB fiber connection.Directed and managed several major projects including the deployment of a SQL 2008 cluster and the district wide implementation of the Windows 7 OS through a centralized imaging server.Deployed and maintained a redundant, 32 TB, off-site HP P4000 iSCSI SAN solution.Increased the server infrastructure by 50 servers.Maintained around 70 servers that included Windows Server 03, Server 03 R2, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2, and Server 2012.Upgraded email from Exchange 2007 to a high availability Exchange 2010 SP1 environment with Unified Messaging. Upgraded from Office Communications Server 2007 R2 to a high availability Lync 2010 environment as the districts phone system, conferencing, webinar, and instant messaging system.Responsible for managing Server 2008 R2 Active Directory which included: SharePoint 2010 farm, Hyper-V virtual environment, federation with Office 365, Content Filtering, multiple applications and SQL servers, over 6,000 nodes, and around 15,000 users.Implemented and managed a controller based enterprise level wireless system.Member of the Tennessee Education Technology Association, and involved with the Jackson Madison County Schools technology committee.
