Micro Forecast Analyst - Latin America Region
Current● Develop new item launch forecasts and promotional forecasts, across 5 business lines, for all 11 markets in our Latin American (LATAM) region. To-date have improved the region's forecast accuracy by 15%.● Drive cross functional partnership with local LATAM teams to drive more robust communication and processes. In my first year I worked to implement and optimize the region's S&OP process, to improve synergy across functional teams (demand planning, finance, marketing, sales, forecasting, etc..)● Drive local and global cross functional partnership regarding new or existing products and their pricing, promotion, calendar optimization, and strategy. ● Improve data reporting via data querying (Google BigQuery) and curation (Alteryx.)● Executing analysis of data and trends, consulting directly with partners to provide insights to department management and counterparts (marketing, sales, supply chain, affiliates).● Convey concise and effective communication in order to present technical forecasts in ways that are easily understood.● Provide business analysis that influences future business line or category growth and profitability- this includes metrics such as penetration, margin, sales $, buyer counts by segment, productivity, etc.● Provide executive updates on product all launch performance, promotion performance, and product trends.
