At MacroFab, I did awesome things: we started with five people and one customer, and I was integral in building and developing the primary front-end platform and backend into the amazing business that now exists.- Core UI/UX development and design utilizing Ractive, React, jQuery, underscore.js, nodejs, KineticJS, Babel, ECMA 2016.- Backend architecture and programming: REST API design, implementation, and architecture utilizing Perl, RabbitMQ, Python, some Lua (I use this sparingly), Mojolicious, ElasticSearch, memcached, Redis, SQLAlchemy, MySQL, Perl::XS- Designed and implemented native Objective-C and react-native mobile apps for receiving, inventory management, and manufacturing floor tracking of parts and other assets utilizing Honeywell scanning sleds- CI and local development infrastructure with Jenkins/Docker- Integration with Spreedly, EasyPost, Octopart, Mouser, Digi-Key, and various other third party APIs- JIRA administration- EC2, S3, ElastiCache, CloudFormation, IAM, hosted (and non-hosted) ELK stack, Lambda, Route 53, ELBs, etc.

My duties at cPanel include:• Architecture, development, and deployment of OpenStack/Ceph virtualization infrastructure utilizing MAAS, Juju and Quantum/Neutron• Python/AngularJS/JavaScript development for internal OpenStack virtualization infrastructure• Architecture, development, and deployment of scalable internal business intelligence system utilizing Tornado, ElasticSearch, Mojolicious, and Puppet• Development and co-architecture of the internal QA testing cluster infrastructure and automation tools in Perl using KVM/libvirt/Puppet/MySQL for rapid provisioning of virtual machines, both to run parallelized tests and to perform automated installations• Frontend web development using jQuery/YUI/HTML/Template Toolkit/Mojolicious/Bootstrap• Backend development using Perl/Python/MySQL• Writing test plans and cases for automated testing of all aspects of the cPanel product• Writing automated tests in Perl using Perl's testing framework (TAP/Test::More) and Selenium web driver• Writing various utility libraries for use by the QA team to assist automated test writing

During my time at M86 Security, I worked with every Marshal product and several 8e6 products. I performed a multitude of duties, including:• Created and defined the escalation engineering position and associated processes which were adopted company-wide• Managed a small team of geographically distributed escalation engineers• Implemented numerous features for various products in C++/C#/Python• Maintenance coding for hundreds of bugs in C++/C#• Acted as intermediary between technical support and development, which reduced time and costs by reducing the burden on development for maintenance fixes/critical issues• Complex problem investigation, debugging, and resolution for urgent customer issues, with turnaround times as low as one business day for providing hotfixes• Sole ownership of various software packages/features• Training of technical support and writing internal and external documentation

At NetIQ, I provided technical support for the Marshal line of products, and eventually began fixing bugs. My duties included:• First and second tier technical support• Support team lead – directed a small group of technical support engineers• Maintenance coding in C++• Developed processes that would eventually become the escalation engineering position

EV1Servers.net was one of the largest web hosting companies in the United States and offered various co-location and Linux hosting services; my duties there included:• Second tier Linux support for RHEL, BSD, and other operating systems• Junior web development using ASP/ActionScript• Third party product integration using Perl/C#
