I worked with the team to conduct and improve annual financial reports by streamlining accounting processes. - I investigated and resolving discrepancies in agency reporting by employing excel tools (vlookups, 'if' statements & data validation tools), which ensured on time scheduling of project funding and expenses- Worked on building out a VBA Macro to automate funding deposit logs, which saved many hours of manual data entry each month

As a Technical and Quality intern, my main responsibilities were to update and revise technical documentation regarding the vehicle line up, in accordance to company policy. - Launched internal technical communication platform to distribute recall, service and software information about products to Retailer Service Staff- Had the opportunity to apply my data analysis and excel skills (VBA macros, vlookups, pivot tables) to draft and execute reports regarding vehicle recalls and overdue oil services to determine where internal support was needed.- Another aspect of my role was to assist in investigations regarding thermal related issues on specific vehicles. These investigations required my knowledge of identifying fire patterns, electrical failure and/or evidence of arson.

I was responsible for designing an oil-based cooling system for an electric motor dynamometer inside the lab. - Interfaced with previous alumni and graduate student to develop deep understanding of heat mass transfer and fluid mechanics design principles - I developed a 3D model of the system design on AutoCAD inventor and used Autodesk P&ID to develop hydraulic layout- I also communicated and negotiated with external vendors to appropriately size pump, heat exchanger and power components to achieve budget requirements.

I worked alongside faculty to oversee and mentor Undergraduate teams develop innovative solutions to address transportation issues for the city of Hamilton.-Gave an all day workshop on 'Innovative Design Thinking' to undergraduate students to equip them with the necessary tools to build out their ideas- Managed and guided 1st year undergraduate team to aid in developing multi-modal transportation app that is accessible to users of varying disabilities

I helped prepare the first year Engineering Profession & Practice course and final design project with Dr. Fleisig and Dr. Hassan. - I also led focus group sessions to test usability of various online teaching platforms (TopHat, PebblePad, Google Classroom) to determine most effective method of delivering core content - I formulated course planner & lecture schedules via excel, as well as recruited guest lectures from PEO, Trovan Medical and ECCS.

My team and I organized the annual Global Engineering Conference centred around bridging the gap between Engineering and Healthcare. I contacted and recruited start up companies, professors, graduate students and professionals to showcase their projects at the conference as well as promoting the event to McMaster students.

I established a student led club where we tackled both local and global sustainability issues. Within the group, we built a non-profit business from a two-part sustainable aquaponics system. Our group collaborated with external vendors (Pack H2O, Sorbent Systems) to design a multipurpose backpack that could carry and sterilize water simultaneously, for developing nations.
