Meditation has been part of my life for decades now. I meditate to manage my stress, control my emotions, and to harmonize myself with infinity. Many studies have demonstrated the benefits of meditation and confirmed the positive effects on our entire being. Researches have also shown that when meditating for others, the positive effects are stronger. Our brain is a powerful tool. What we think, what we express, and what we feel affect everything else on Earth. When many people send out harmonious thoughts simultaneously and together during one day, a significant reduction in violent crimes in that city can be observed. And this can even last for several days thereafter.In 2012, I joined the One Minute for Peace group, and added the "1 Minute for Peace" Meditation to my daily meditations. Every day, I take at least one minute of my time to meditate for peace.When we meditate for peace, we send waves of peace and love to the world, and by sending theses waves of peace and love through the powerful transmitter that is our brain, we can make this planet more peaceful. That’s what we try to do by doing a short meditation of 1 minute, dedicated to peace and love.In 2018, I was assigned to be in charge of the weekly 1 Minute for Peace online meditations in North America. Each week we have a session of short meditations for peace that are done in three languages: English, French and Spanish.
