oDesk is the world’s largest online marketplace for outsourcing.Managed a team responsible for time tracking used in billing. The system is comprised of the front end C++ application that tracks time, takes screen shots at random time intervals and sends the data to the backend servers and the back end server that stores this information. The image data are stored in Amazon S3.

Designed high performance ETL tool and MSAS schema for enterprise reporting module. ETL tools extracts data from existing relational schema, performs data reconciliation and loads data into the intermediate relational warehouse schema. Subsequently, data are loaded into the multi-dimensional schema of MSAS. The cube definitions in MSAS schema are optimized for storage (C#, MSAS).

Sychron develops a policy-driven orchestration engine. Sychron distributed agents capture real-time data from multiple servers and perform appropriate actions that include server provisioning, configuration and load balancing.• Architected, designed and implemented a new version of Sychron Command Center, graphical tool that allows user to monitor servers, applications running on these servers and define policies, governing the applications. Command Center features multi-threaded architecture for communication with Sychron agents and industry standard tree-like structure for easy navigation and monitoring of various objects. Robust design and compact source code base allowed very short delivery time of six weeks to initial version (Java, Swing, AWT, XML, MySQL).

• Lead a project to develop a UML modeling tool, similar in functionality to Rational Rose 2000, Modeling Edition. The tool provides an API for custom generation of Java classes/ Database schema from UML model. The model is stored in XML format (Java, Swing, Java 2D, XML, UML).• Co-designed and implemented an ORM layer for Oracle 9iAS ProcessConnect, featuring automatic Java class and database schema generation, automatic association balancing and transaction support (Java, JDBC, SQL, PL/SQL).• Designed and implemented an internal web application, similar in functionality to Oracle Files Online. The server features: file upload, user authorization, document administration, text search, document transformation (Java, Servlets, HTML).• Co-designed and implemented Life Cycle support for the Object-Relational repository, featuring Deployment, Object Versioning, Version aware Export/Import (Java, SQL, PL/SQL).
