About Eriko Onishi
I am Dr. Eriko Onishi, a medical doctor and board certified family physician.I have been practicing Family Medicine since 2001 in Indiana after finishing my residency training. In October of 2011, I have joined Oregon Health and Science University Family Medicine Department as a faculty member and excited to contribute myself in practicing Family Medicine and also in education of Family Medicine for both American and Japanese Medical students and residents. I was born in Tokushima, Japan and received my medical degree from Tsukuba School of Medicine. I decide to come to the United States to learn more about Family Medicine since the field was not yet widely practiced in Japan at that time.
