Very happy to work with this awesome team on food handling automation and systems.

Together with the team I was developing the first one-time use recyclable battery packs. My focus for this project was to create the most cost-effective solutions while still complying with both the client's requirements and the safety standards demands. Using Solidworks, 3D printing and CNC machining I developed different concepts for the batteries. With these prototypes I was able to perform mechanical tests to find the design with the most mechanical integrity. The chosen design was then finalised in a set of specifications. During manufacturing I was supporting the manufacturer with any questions and challenges they might have. Other projects include charging and programming equipment.

Worked on a range of products linked to internet controlled light switches and socket outlets that are equipped with electro-mechanical actuators to keep the feel and look of ordinary products. I developed the (patent pending) switches from scratch and supported them all the way to volume production in China. Solidworks and 3D printing was used to iterate the design into the final assembly. I created assembly- and test jigs with Arduino to validate the design during durability tests. During the certification process for safety testing I assisted the product certification partner. Due to the limited available space I had to work closely with the electronics team to find solutions that work for everybody.

Apart from running the company I worked for several customers on their next industrial products. Leading a team of 3, working together to develop added value products for several companies.

For Technobis I have developed parts of a innovative medical device. This incredible machine has been finalised together with the local team and an international team of specialists. I used Solidworks to create credible concepts for complicated functionalities. With the help of FEM calculations and all kinds of prototypes this project moved along very quickly. In cooperation with several manufacturers in plastic, steel and electronic components I chose the optimal production methods for this low volume machine.

Working with the product team to design and develop the next generation of gas fired boilers. From concept to final product, both domestic boilers and industrial size systems. Mostly designing plastic parts for user interfaces, electrical connections, condensate collection and flue gas exhaust parts. It's a joy to work with the small but experienced and flexible teams.

Development of the industrial design of the next generation of hose pumps. Several concepts of hose fixation systems, hose installation methods, overall pump design and prototyping.

Development of small urban wind turbines. From initial design, fatique calculations until manufacturing and installation.
