During this time also established a number of farm diversification projects including the planning and development of a new equestrian & stud business, securing planning for indoor and outdoor facilities, assisted in the creation of a Government training programme for agricultural & equestrian vocational trainees, established a BHS Approved training & competition establishment, a BHS Approved Exam Centre & a Managing Agent organisation to train students up to BHSII. During this time sat & passed the BHSAI, PC A test, BHS Intermediate Teaching Test & the BHSI (SM). Assisted in the design of a nationally recognised cross country course and the creation of the delivery strategy of a major equestrian event.Won the LAC 1985 Spot Landing Competition.Launched the AIRAID Rally which was supported by British pilots & raised significant funds for the "Wishing Well Appeal" benefiting Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital. Pilots from all over the UK took part in the AirAid Competition. They flew Great Ormond Street nurses in sequential relay to every UK airfield and airport over a 24 hour timespan. Pilots & nurses raised funds as they flew in and out of each location. One hiccup took place. Bad weather prevented a young pilot from completing his leg. She contacted Virgin & Richard Branson saved the day by supplying an aircraft & an experienced pilot who was qualified to fly in bad weather. He completed that leg of the relay !
