I am interested in the description of the various domains of the human social world--especially the domains of business, economics, and technology--and the value phenomena therein. My work is influenced by the turn-of-the-19th-Century Austrian philosophical tradition, and its counterpart value-theoretical economic thinkers, especially Menger and Hayek. These two schools of thought share a common ground in behavioral psychology that is central in organizational leadership.My current research interest are in the applications of phenomenology and the notion of empathy to central questions in business ethics.
