Been a Design Engineer in two R&D project, one about nanotechnology, and other one about novel hand-weaving loom.The first mentioned project was sponsored by TUBITAK and its code was 108M045. It was a TL 360.000 project and lasted 36 months. In this project Electrospinning process parameters were optimised, lab-sized and industrial-sized machines are designed, produced and developed.The other project was sponsored by Rize Public Education Centers (known as "Halk Eğitim Merkezi locally), in order to develop traditional "Feretiko" hand-looms. In that project, a pneumatic actuation mecanism was designed and implemented to the hand-looms, in order to provide improvements by means of speed and quality in hand-made weavings.
