the project involves the rehabilitation and the reconstruction of the 56 km- long double track railway line which is one of the most intense section on the corridor of Ankara-İstanbul High Speed Railway Line. The project covers railway infrastructure construction works including earth works, tunnels and culverts for agricultural purpose, various structures, drainage works, retaining walls; railway superstructure construction works including ballast and track laying works, and electromechanical works including electrification, signalization and telecommunication, for the railway line with a maximum design speed of 160 km/h. The contract, including electromechanical works designed by the Contractor, is executed pursuant to FIDIC Conditions of Contracts for Construction-The Red Book, 1999.
