Responsibility, as part of Daimler‘s R&D IT Team, for the product quality of the backbone PDM system Smaragd and also the R&D business processes that run on Smaragd are working correctly as designed;▪ Management of the function, process, regression and integration tests, evaluation of software maturity at predefined quality gates, coordination (with HP ALM, Jira, Xray and Confluence) and guidance of internal/external test teams▪ Designing test cases, creating test plans, conducting manual and automated tests (ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level)▪ Creation and maintenance of test automation scripts ▪ Working with Scrum methodology for agile regression testing and agile test automation▪ Participation in agile requirement management sprint meetings; monitoring implementation status and target releases; updating existing tests in accordance with the changes in R&D processes and changes in the software▪ Monitoring the status of open defects to ensure that the fixed defects are retestet in targeted deployment period in the targeted environment (test or productive)▪ Crossplatform testing of web applications▪ Supplier management for the test runs and documentation; working with virtual intercultural teams
