Gunes is a highly motivated Engineering Geologist with over ten years of experience in soil investigation and improvement, deep excavation, support systems design and implementation, assessment of engineering problems and mitigation measures and foundation design and applications. He has expertise in soil and rock mechanics and serves as a Supervising Engineer for Soil Mechanics Laboratory. Gunes has worked as a senior geological engineer, subcontractor, consultant, and project manager on national and local government infrastructure projects, commercial and residential developments, oil and gas platforms, power plants, port structures, heavy industry, and mining projects.
