There are a lot of things I never thought would happen, and teaching code was one of them! But here I am, loving every second of it. Watching kids grow in their coding skills right before my eyes, knowing I’m helping shape their future, is a whole new level of rewarding. And who knows? At this rate, they might even outpace ChatGPT!This journey has been full of lessons beyond coding—patience, leadership, collaboration, and time management have all become part of my daily routine. Balancing a computer science degree, commuting around Houston, and a 25-minute drive to work is a challenge, but I’m managing with God’s grace and wisdom. Between staying ahead on assignments (because "on time" is late, period) and prepping to teach, I’ve come a long way since my UIndy days.Now, I’m looking for a new adventure—whether it’s a summer internship or a part-time opportunity to keep learning, growing, and handling those bills.
