Implementing Sexual Health and Reproductive Education {SHARE} a Project Funded by the Global Affairs Canada, aimed at supporting adolescents and Young people access Sexual and Reproductive Health education and gender responsive services,

● Spearheaded refugee and host communities to participate in GBV prevention activities. Reached out to over 3000 beneficiaries with GBV prevention and response messages. ● Program planning by developing detailed implementation, procurement and work plans done at Annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly basis to ensure that project timelines are met. ● Coordinated 2 SASA Together trainings for SASA activists, leaders and Male engagement champions. ● Moderated and Participated in 5 radio talk shows and developed key spot messages on GBV. ● People Management, directly supervising 35 SASA community activists and indirectly supervising 20 community leaders. ● Pioneered the development of the terms of reference for research projects on gender-based violence including SASA baseline survey and GBV safety Audit. ● Facilitated 2 successful Postive masculinity trainings. ● Expedited the formation of 20 School Anti-GBV club activities through Prevention messages. ● Held 10 meetings with refugee leaders, local leaders thus successful project implementation.

● Provided psychosocial support to beneficiaries using Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Problem Management Plus (PM+) approach for individuals with mild psychosocial problems and transformed a total of 900 persons of concern. ● Prioritized Psycho education sessions with GBV survivors to both refugees and host communities experiencing psychological distress and benefited1800 beneficiaries. ● Delivered Psychological First Aid (PFA) to beneficiaries to reduce the initial distress caused by traumatic events and foster adaptive functioning and thus supported 1600 individuals. ● Generated timely and quality reporting that included donor, monthly, quarterly, and weekly reports, activity reports, incident reports and documenting success stories. ● Ensured proper case management and appropriately referred and advocated for the traced cases in the community. Over 200 Mental health and GBV cases were documented and referred. ● Chaired 5 successful Quarterly review meetings which educated us to review project progress.

● I won a Scholarship, and I was enrolled for Certificate of Counseling Skills with Rakai Health Sciences Program. ● Awarded Best Employer Award for the period October 2017 to September 2018 in which the Infectious Diseases Institute achieved more than 95% of the target of Voluntary Medical male circumcision for HIV prevention. ● I was promoted from Mobilization Volunteer to Mobilization officer because of increased men circumcised due to exceptional mobilization skills. ● Enhanced promotion of sexual reproductive health goods and service for men and adolescent youths such as voluntary counseling and testing, stigma free-Antiretroviral (ART) Condoms, Safe Medical Male circumcision (SMC) usage in HIV/AIDS treatment. Maintained strategic relationships with different District Local Governments and Keyimplementing partners to ensure interventions are effectively and efficiently implemented in thetargeted districts.● In liaison with the Project Mobilization officer, I supported the development and oversaw thedissemination of SBCC messages and activities development in accordance with the SBCC projectstrategy, to increase access to HIV awareness, Safe Male circumcision and family planning.● With guidance from the Project Manager, I liaised with health teams to Map, plan, align, executeand report on all community engagement and social mobilization activities including below the lineactivations in all supported facilities.● Monitored SBCC interventions implemented by project staff and partners, on a daily basis.● Executed the project's communication campaigns, i.e. Above-The-Line communication,Community Interpersonal communication, and Social Media Communication campaigns.● Assisted in project case studies, documenting experiences, develop success stories and lessonslearnt, prepare report and articles.● Liaised with the Procurement team to ensure development and timely procurement of IEC materials.

● I was promoted from case Community volunteer to Case worker as a result of my exceptional Child protection skills. ● Carried out Best Interest Determination (BID) and Best Interest Assessment for children. 1,214 Children received child friendly services. ● Oversaw child friendly events and activities at the best yet most economical. This saved 40% of organization budgets. ● Streamlined case management activities (identification, assessment and documentation, case planning, Implementation of the care plan, follow-up, evaluation, case closure and post case closure follow-ups). A total of 298 children were supported and set over 52 community dialogues. ● Mentored and supervised 60 community Mobilisers which helped track project outcomes. ● Managed 05 child friendly spaces and supervised 30 caregivers and facilitators towards successful project implementation.

Did my first year Rural field attachment internship program at Compassion international Uganda with BUDIMO Child Development Centre UG 437• Served as an advocate for children and other care givers who live in poverty.• Led the children’s and sponsors correspondence, communication and child updates.• Conducted child visitations and offering counselling services to youth.• Ensured the monitoring and tracking of child participation in the program.• Worked closely with the local church, in developing the child care ministry.• Coordinated health related trainings, information, Education and communication(IEC).
