Engaged in all day pair programming, rigorous TDD, deployment automation with Jenkins and Concourse, daily standup, code reviews, IPMs, and retrospectives.Focused on the challenges of deploying applications in a reproducible and highly available way across multiple data centers. Part of the team that developed and released Deployadactyl, Allstate's first open source application, which enabled developers to easily deploy applications across multiple Cloud Foundry deployments in two data centers with zero downtime. Part of another team that tackled the challenge of finding and creating deployment automation around a highly available replicated database for the multi-cloud environment used by our developers. Spearheaded research and design for a highly available authentication/authorization system using OAuth for internal employee facing applications inside of the company.

DevOps engineer for IBM's Bluemix platform. In charge of operating over a dozen separate Cloud Foundry deployments including the public Bluemix public cloud as well as dedicated cloud deployments for special customers. Used BOSH to manage and update virtual machines and the software services that run on top of these machines in an automated way. Built an SSH automation system using Go to make it easier to connect to service VMs and bastion hosts across the multiple clouds that that we operated.
