Reporting to the CEO, I serve as the Senior Technical Projects Manager responsible for overseeing and directing installations across the Eastern African Region. I manage Oracle Hospitality and Infor Sun Financials projects that support multiple high-profile and complex projects spanning over several weeks and months.Key Responsibilities & Achievements: • I develop and implement standards, methods and tools to timely complete project tasks and mitigate constraints.• I create and deliver status reports for all stakeholders and identifying pending action items for resolution.• I manage multiple concurrent projects by balancing conflicting resources and priorities.• I co-ordinate teams, resources and schedules to handle simultaneous projects.• I offer leadership, coaching and guidance as head of projects lifecycle, operating procedures and practices.• I apply technical expertise to guide team members and consistently accomplish desired technical and business results.• I facilitate communication and collaboration between internal functional teams, technical teams, customers, and third-party system providers to achieve outlined goals.• I use knowledge and analytical problem-solving abilities to consistently take on and resolve technical challenges.• I analyze all non-technical and technical solutions by using metrics to accurately track capabilities execution.• I keep projects in line with budget, schedule and product demands, closely monitoring work of team members.• I research new products, systems, methods and processes associated with information technology and project management, thus ensuring latest correct product versions with least bugs are installed at customer sites, ensuring sales team provide proper product information to customers during sales pitch, and ensuring both company & customer realize the intended business process improvements.

Tasked with on-site and remote implementations of Micros-Fidelio (Now Oracle Hospitality) Products across Eastern Africa. The entire implementations including requirements gathering, Applications Setup and Configuration, End-User Training, Go Live and Live Support.While not on implementations, tasked with day-to-day on-site or remote customer support of the same micros-fidelio products.Major Accomplishments: • Developed and released custom solutions for customers that would otherwise cost the company to get developed by Micros-Fidelio, thus saving the company revenue. • Learnt people management and got hands on leading installation projects. • Represented the company in Global Micros-Fidelio offices for training on all new products scheduled for release for the EMEA region.
