o Position-- Director on Board of Dahej Harbour and Infrastructure Limited (Aditya Birla Group Company) & Senior Vice President of Indo Gulf Corporation Ltd (Aditya Birla Group) o The Copper Project had a captive Jetty primarily to service the import of Copper Concentrate, rock phosphate and coal for the Copper Smelter. I worked extensively to comprehensively optimise potentials of the captive Jetty into a Bulk Cargo Commercial Port, to be able to handle import of cargo of other Industries, with a view to raise revenue for the Copper Smelter, to raise funds without recourse to the main balance sheet, keeping preferred status for meeting out import requirement of the Birla Copper Smelter. o I had the opportunity to closely interact and obtain services from host of Consultants such as Financial Advisors (Macquarie Asia Pte Limited, Australia), Design Consultants (Beckett Rankine Partnership, U.K), Marketing Consultants (Frederic R. Harris), International Port Consultants for O&M, Strategic Partners, Investors, Infrastructure consultants (for water, power, storage of imported cargo, logistics for outward movement of cargo) and for setting up Rail link to the Bulk Cargo Port, for Telecommunication, Residential township etc. Also handled Taxation planning, legal and regulatory clearances o Copper manufacturing- Have been Sr VP of Birla Copper (Aditya Birla Group) at Dahej, Gujarat, a leading Copper Smelter for 2 years. Have been to LME, UK on Training on metal hedging.

o Major achievement--Formulated and implemented NTC Revival/ Rehabilitation/ Resolution plans, envisaging the following: Identification of mills as Viable/ Potentially viable and Unviable mills Closure of unviable mills Large scale VRS of surplus work-force Modernisation of potentially viable and viable mills. Debt-restructuring--negotiated and implemented One Time Settlement with Banks, Financial Institutions and other Creditors. Sale of surplus Lands and other assets for raising resources and so on
