Pearson Medical Technologies is a pharmacy automation and software company specializing in automated products which package and label medication for use in domestic and international hospitals, long term care facilities, and retail pharmacies. As Vice President of Marketing and Sales, I nurture existing business relationships while developing new business relationships with strategic partners, as well as domestic and international distributors. I manage both sales and marketing teams. I also work closely with the customer support and production teams. During my 15 years at Pearson Medical Technologies, I have participated in virtually every aspect of the business, including relationship management of partners, distributors, and customers, research and development of new products, product launch, marketing, sales, distribution and customer support. My responsibilities also include planning and executing all phases of product management, domestic and international marketing and sales of products, competitive analysis for development of new products and the negotiation of private label agreements for Pearson products.

I created all documentation for sales staff, including setting goals, creating action plans, and defining sales territories. I directly managed all sales personnel, both in-house, nationally, and international distributors. I worked with graphics designers to create all marketing materials for brochures, web sites, email campaigns, as well as social media. During my service as Director of Sales and Marketing I worked on specific projects, including development of our patented iPack® Rx Unit Dose Packaging System. I also developed the private label division of Pearson Medical and negotiated private label contracts with three major vendors in the pharmacy automation industry.

I planned all trade shows, including advertising, logistics, and participation in trade shows. I was also a member of the in-house sales team which included cold calling and on-site demonstrations. During this time I was directly responsible for identifying the need for our flagship product, m:Print® Bar Code Labeling Software. I was also a member of the development team which created m:Print® software.
