About Daniel Arnold

I’ve been an entrepreneur since 1998. For 26 years I’ve dedicated my life to building and scaling emerging technology startups into thriving businesses, primarily in the CTO position.I've garnered deep experience across a broad range of industries including Gaming, Advertising, Salon/Spa Management, Competitor Monitoring, Data Forensics, Network Security, Blockchain, Lottery and BLE/WiFi RFID IoT.I am a hands-on technologist. I often build the initial technology and product prototypes, before handing them off to my teams as the company grows. These days I'm focused on the cultural shifts in advertising and gaming, and am experimenting with products that serve those changes.

It has now settled into solving the most major pain points ad agencies face - labor intensive tasks, financial reconciliation, data management, delivery analytics and lack actionable information.AdNode eventually transformed into a Trading Desk and is seeing good success there. I purchased the technology from AdNode, Inc. and created AdNode Tech, LLC, to continue the technology business.

Tenx Healthcare, Inc. May 2016 - Apr 2018
    Sunrise, Florida, Us
TenX Healthcare improves hospital operations and efficiency by combining asset tracking, predictive analytics and integrated communications in real time.Kory Laszewski and Ken Condren, the CEO and COO respectively, approached me with an initial concept to turn into a product. The concept was to track assets in a hospital, including patients, doctors, cleaning crew, beds, surgery tools, etc., analyze all that data in a central location and give hospital managers a depth visibility they’ve never had before. For the first year, I designed and developed the software platform to provide the basic functionality and test it in Weston’s Cleveland Clinic. In our second year now, we’ve secured multiple rounds of funding and continue to grow quickly. In our second year, I built out the development team and designed our IP strategy.TenX failed due to hardware requirements of radio frequency detectors. Our hardware team was unable to solve for the broad range of radio frequency interference sources and dead zones in hospital environments. I left TenX in May 2016, and the company closed down two years after.

  • Hyphase Energy, Inc.
    Investor, Cbdo
Hyphase Energy, Inc. May 2010 - Jun 2013
Hyphase Energy manufactures a revolutionary 3D proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) membrane electrode assembly (MEA), based on a proprietary polymer, named Plitrode.I joined Kenth Pedersen, the original founder, in 2010. Soon after, I invested in the company, providing three years of seed capital. This allowed the company to complete its proofs of concept and further develop pilot customers. I ran business development for customer discovery and engagement and strategic partnerships. In our tests, the Plitrode MEA increased the reactive surface area by five hundred times the 2D MEAs at the time, resulting in increased power density and transfer.Despite these advancements, the hydrogen fuel cell market has yet to materialize beyond novel and niche use. The Plitrode product is now shelved at Simon Fraser University.
  • Secured Holdings Lc
    Founder, Asset Manager
Secured Holdings Lc Oct 2006 - May 2010
Secured Holdings brings bank-owned asset purchasing expertise to investment firms.I founded Secured Holdings with Matthew Wood. Bank-owned assets were popular investments at the time, but the market was saturated by massive amounts of product as the U.S. housing bubble began to burst. The business model I developed in 2006, addressed this opportunity by helping fund managers identify and purchase the correct bank-owned assets based on their goals. As the company's asset manager, I liquidated over $100MM in bank-owned assets to hedge fund managers. The bank-owned asset market dried up for us in early 2010 and Secured Holdings LC was shut down.
