Ogunkeyede Opemipo Grace, 20, is an Environmentalist and a Global Changemaker driving for sustainable environment through advocacy, research, events and projects.Understanding the devastating effects of humane actions on the environment, on lives as its inhabitant, she founded her organization -The Eco Emissaries; a youth-led organization focused on environmental sustainability, combating plastic pollution, climate action, promoting environmental education and advancing circular economy.She is an advocate for the UN Sustainable Development Goals 4,13,14,15. Opemipo is also a girl in tech with a deep passion for using technology to tackle some of the complex global issues we're currently facing which environmental challenges is one of - climate change, plastic pollution. She is passionate about changing the narratives pertaining to plastic pollution, climate crisis and ocean conservation in Africa and the world.In 2020, driven by a strong desire to pave way for young people who are clueless and in dire need of the skills to survive in this digital era, She founded her digital skills training academy "SkillsBeyond" as a young girl with numerous digital skills.The academy's mission aims at redefining the traditional concept of education and learning by providing young people with skills that go beyond what is taught in the traditional academic setting.She is a Global Changemaker and a Difference Maker. Opemipo is the 18-year-old Nigerian girl with 121 Certifications, Badges and Honors, from different internationally recognized organizations in the World; World Health Organization (W.H.O), UNICEF, HP , Asian Development Bank , US Institute of Peace , Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) , Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders , Honor Society , Reuters among others.Due to the outstanding achievement, she has been featured on several media outlets globally; internationally and locally, such as the African Future Leadership Magazine, Afrikbuzz, Punch Newspaper, Legit.ng, etc, among numerous others. She was recently featured on Legit.ng (her second time) on the 2023 International Women's Day as one of the 3 Nigerian ladies with uncommon achievements and exploits.
