HackWITus is Wenworth's annual 24-hour hackathon. I served in multiple roles during my two years working with the hackathon team. During my time there, I had the opportunity to help create a diversity initiative that aimed to make the hackathon more inclusive and accessible for all participants. I strive to ensure that all spaces (virtual + physical) are safe and comfortable for those who are within them. I partnered with BIPOC communities on campus and companies around Boston to ensure we were creating work opportunities for hackers by having a resume sharing service.Additionally, I assisted in raising over $15,000 in sponsorship money to cover the costs associated with running the hackathon. I also managed a team of twelve organizers to ensure we were organized and efficient during the event.

CSB is a local bank that truly cares about investing and supporting the community. During my time at CSB, I served as a IT intern and had the opportunity to work on a multitude of projects that allowed me to engage with my peers, the leadership team, and the community. I helped develop a Data Management Intake Request System to help improve the day-to-day operations of the Data Management team. I refined and tested the bank-wide onboarding experience by creating new workflows and collaborating closely with HR to understand needs. I configured and updated PCs to ensure that we were following top-tier security protocols. And lastly, I refined my scripting skills by including scripting into my day-to-day operations to work more efficiently.
