I try to coordinate IT projects on different federal levels, educate others and myself, diagnose/understand users needs and write some code, but also think a lot about processes. I advocate for open source software and open standards.Through my work also at European and Global level I make and create connections, both in personal and on technological level. Here I draw from my experience with metabolomics and proteomics mass spectrometry as half wet-lab and half computational scientist, that thaught me experimental design, data visualisation and multivariate statistics in R.Working in Public Health gives me some insight into the challenges in the Public Health System. I contribute this perspective to the Innovationsverbund Öffentliche Gesundheit e.V. (Public Health Innovation Alliance), where we work as volunteers with professional attitude towards Open Source Software Solutions for Challenges in Public Health.
