As a highly dedicated professional in the field of organ procurement and transplantation I proudly serve as the Director of Clinical Operations with LifeQuest, Gainesville Florida. I am responsible for the overall operations of the procurement division. Responsibly includes Administrative On-Call assignments, which include, but are not limited to, providing guidance according to protocols approved by the OPO Medical Director to the procurement staff with regard to the medical management of the organ donor, and evaluation/placement of organs for transplant according to UNOS/OPTN policy. I assure compliance with organ donor regulations on both the state and federal levels; specifically I serve as the point person for all UNOS policy and AOPO clinical standards. I work closely with the transplant physicians and surgeons in and around our DSA to build and sustain relationships in order to maximize donor management and transplantation outcomes. Additionally, I work collaboratively with the Directors of Hospital Services and Referral Relations.I participate in and model outstanding customer service. As a Clinical Services Manager I am responsible for the day to day supervision of all clinical services staff, ensuring that all clinical services staffs are proficient in their individual job functions, and that all procurement activities comply with LifeNet Health policies and regulatory standards. As the administrator on call and team leader for the on-call staff I provided guidance to other members of the team involved in the donation process and ensures real-time compliance with all OPO policies, UNOS policies, AOPO standards, and donor hospital policies. As a team leader I adhered to the practice of outstanding customer service and accept responsibility for the overall success of the team in achieving departmental goals. I Provided guidance to transplant coordinators to ensure effective clinical and logistical management of organ/tissue donation process to optimize organ function and the number of organs recovered and transplanted per donor. I worked to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and assessed for potential legal issues in addition to recipient safety issues. I also provided clinical support to family support coordinators in the evaluation of organ donor suitability. Additional responsibilities included making recommendations regarding conflict/complaint resolution internal or external, advanced donor management, the need to obtain additional medical information and testing, pre-approach consent huddle, and recommendations for hospital and physician follow-up.

As a transplant coordinator I managed all aspects of the donation process from donor identification through organ recovery and transportation. I participated in continual quality improvement initiatives to increase the number of organs recovered and organs transplanted per donor. As a clinical services team member, I participated in and provided outstanding customer service and accepted responsibility for the overall success of the team in achieving departmental goals. In the largest city of New Hampshire I worked both as a critical care paramedic and 911 care provider. I was responsible for managing a multidisciplinary health care team of EMS providers and first responders in saving lives.
