Designed and developed micro controller, PC and embedded hardware, software, and firmware for commercial and scientific instrumentation, A/D, data acquisition, position photomultiplers for imaging, sensing and controls, digital I/O, video, audio, speech recognition used in multi-domain environments for: GUI, remote access, wireless control, robotic XYZU micro-movement, radiation detection and imaging, spectroscopy, dosimetry, eddy current scanning. Development, testing and debug of complex systems and software used for solid state radiation sensors, vacuum deposition, crystal ovens, and eddy current testing.

Developed PC/Windows based application for onsite and remote control of 48-zone Indoor Air Quality monitoring system. Commercial ruggedized unit utilized air-pump driven, solenoid multiplexed vacuum draw system to sample air in multi-story buildings such as mid-rise to high rise structures, hospital, schools, and parking garages. Precision gas sensors for detecting Co2, CO, VOCs, Humidity, and DewPoint. Development tools included Visual Studio 6.0, C++, for ActiveX controls and ToolBook for digital I/O, A/D, diagnostics, logging and remote monitoring. Interface protocols included BACnet over IP, NodeTalk, RS-232, and USB to permit interface to building automation systems including Andover Controls and others utilizing BACnet node networks. Systems provided multi-year databases of indoor air quality for diagnosing of HVAC systems, alarm threshold detection and reporting and for building efficiency monitoring.

Developed multimedia software client for remote support of doctor to pharmaceutical representative consultations. Tools and languages included Visual Studio, ToolBook, SQL, HTML. Application provided remote presentation tools for video, streaming audio, whiteboard, and PDF display over ISDN and IP connections. Multi-protocol supported video conferencing system using PC based Z350 hardware. Interfaced Radvision gateway for H.320 and H.323 connectivity to SQL based callcenter with support for 5ESS and voice prompted call routing. Network administrator for 40 plus PC network supporting DSL, ISDN, wireless routers, gateways, firewall, anti-virus, file servers and network infrastructure.

Specified and developed user interface software and help systems for SwiftSite desktop videoconferncing system. Managed team of four software developers to deliver project on-time for global roll-out with localization and multiple language support (English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Chinese, Japanese).
