As a senior C++ developer at Simbionix under the ENDO team, I was a lead solo developer for several project lines while supporting the rest of the team with their work. I've also shifted my focus a bit more toward the rendering side of the engine, algorithmic problem solving, correctly engineered programming architectures and work habits, and setting a high standard for work processes and the way we do things in the company as a whole.Noteworthy accomplishments include:- TURP Laser is a module that was constructed from the ground up as a solo project, focusing on newly added rendering options, new tools, and a new way to perform soft tissue cutting - enucleation by force & laser beam cutting.-Upgraded our physical system from using NVidia's PhysX from the 4.0 release to the 5.0 one. This forged the path for many potential upgrades in the future such as soft tissue solving using PhysX, cloth object support, and CPU based particle systems.- Solo work as the new integrator for the first of its kind (in Simbionix) physically reacting ultrasound module. This was a joint project done alongside the ultrasound team. My side of the project includes hardware integration, tools behavior, and soft tissue physics addition to a newly developed ultrasound module.- Arthroscopy product line has been kept up to date and developed alongside the rest of my projects with some newly added HW support and QA iterations, making sure the code side was kept up to standard with the newly added technologies.- Played an integral role in the continuation of the TURP and HYST product lines. Developed many core features for these modules, and continued supporting and developing them throughout their development.- A whole lot of work on our utility applications foundations, and created a lot of new tools for the broad company usage to ease and smoothen working processes. I also focused heavily on code documentation expansions.

3D Medical simulation developer in the ENDO team for the Arthroscopy & TURP product lines.Using mainly C++, but also a mixture of C# and a few other languages. Worked as part of the software team on maintaining an engine consisting of over 1,000,000 lines of code.Noteworthy accomplishments include:- Complete module - "Meniscal Repair", which uses a completely different code base from the older modules in the product line and was created from the ground up, and is more in line with the scalability and maintainability vision for the company.- Integration of new hardware into the existing Arthroscopy product line, bundled together with a new calibration & diagnostics software, new UI, as a full new hardware communication project. The new project results in a dll that can be used directly either by the calibration software or the rest of the product line which results in consistent behaviour and bugfixes in a much broader scope than was the standard for the product line. The new project includes a much more modern design and coding standard.- Upgrade of the UI for the entire Arthroscopy product line (over 80 cases) to WPF based UI using MVVM design pattern, and integrated the UI with the simulation engine while detaching the original deeply coupled UI.- Worked towards more throughout documentation of various aspects in the development side of the company, using Atlassian's Confluence Wiki.- Many bugfixes, improvements and perfection of legacy inaccurate code in the entire Arthroscopy product line, especially in regards to hardware-to-simulation algebra calculations- Integral part in the TURP module product line team, creating the base module from the ground up- Upgrade of more than 80 cases over 6 different modules in the Arthroscopy product line to a new set of hardware tools, alongside modernization of a whole lot of relevant legacy code

This project includes a 3d simulation that allows users to put the radiation safety theory into practice during a virtual case - enabling the practice of radiation safety principles.The project is a part of the Massive Open Online Course "Radiation Safety in the Hybrid Angiography Suite: The Do's and Don'ts".

Served as a squad commander in a combat support battalion that specializes in radio communications. As part of the job I've had to dynamically deploy temporary radio headquarter set-ups and relay stations. Mostly worked with Ethernet and RF signals.
