Kia ora, hello. My name is Oliver, I am an audio/visual and technical events specialist, currently exploring a paradigm shift in my professional trajectory.Historically, I've worked predominantly within the professional audio, creative arts, and events and entertainment industries, having by this point amassed nearly two decades of experience across a multitude of roles in a wide array of working environments.Presently, I am exploring options and possibilities for expanding beyond these realms, with a focal intent of effectively harnessing my cerebral capabilities, and proficiencies in adapting to new and interesting technologies.In recently held roles, I have enthusiastically adapted to the new standard of networked A/V systems, and having been able to further my long-held interest in Digital Signal Processing, pursued studies in software development via the acclaimed Web Development Bootcamp course offered by Dev Academy Aotearoa.As to where I go from here, I am open to possibility. I have an interest in formalising my recently developed skills in Network Engineering, and in furthering my studies and proficiency in Software Development and Computer Science.Professionally speaking, this could be returning to the Audio/Visual industry within the context of systems design, engineering, programming, and integration, or potentially the game development industry, especially within the context of sound design, and audio integration. Especially of interest is furthering my interest in DSP, and in developing digital audio software, plugins, and tools.
