When I finally came to terms with the fact that I won't be receiving a million dollar contract to play in the NBA, I had to decide whether I wanted to follow in my families footsteps and pursue a business career or chase my passion of health, medicine, and the human body.Since I am extremely motivated and passionate about sports, it felt natural to pursue a career in sports medicine. However, I wanted to do so without neglecting my business background. Once I decided, I applied to the University of Southern California majoring in biology and minoring in marketing/consumer behavior.In order to make the most out of my time at USC, I took advantage of the renowned professors, researchers, clubs and organizations. I started doing biokinesiology research at the USC health campus, I joined TAMID group where I do business consulting for an Israeli biotech start-up company, joined the board of GMT, an organization that sends medical and dental students to rural countries to provide medical help and many others.After 4 years at the University, I get as excited today as I did back when I started the majors. I feel confident in both my business and biology/research skills allowing me to add personality and flavor to many companies. I am a huge people-person and focused on putting my passions and skills to good use by bringing positive energy to the work environment.When I’m not studying or working, I am usually playing basketball or working out.
