Grew and led the Login.gov Partnerships team, including sales/support engineering, account management, and business development, taking the team from 6 to over 20 in roughly 9 months. Supervised and supported members of the team, providing feedback, mentorship, and support for their work. Established and facilitated the execution of a strategic vision for the Partnerships team in service of Login.gov’s growth and overall mission. Hired and onboarded staff needed to provide sufficient capacity for the program and supported the team in adapting to that growth. Provided technical and strategic consultation to potential and existing partners on how best to leverage Login.gov’s services and engaged with the rest of Login.gov leadership in developing new features to support those partners. Collaborated with the rest of Login.gov leadership to oversee the continued success and growth of the program as a whole.

Provided technical support and consultation to agency partners looking to integrate with Login.gov, a government-wide digital identity provider. Designed and built tools and systems to improve the efficiency and throughput of the Partnerships team and worked with other members of the team, including account managers and engineers, to develop and implement improved processes for acquiring, onboarding, and supporting agency partners. Worked with other teams across Login.gov in support of the program’s mission, including devops, user support, security, and application development.

Managed the Custom Application Development team within ITS, supporting the research and academic mission of the university through the sustainable development of custom software applications. Responsible for technical and strategic guidance, application architecture, resource planning and management, client management, and software engineering. Developed standards and best practices for web and mobile app development, interfaced with Information Security and other departments within ITS, as well as the Office of the General Counsel, to ensure compliance with all legal and security regulations.Also responsible for oversight of the Student Developer & Mentorship Program; integrated small teams of students with full-time staff for enhanced mentorship and training; developed operational best-practices for the program; and conceived, planned, and promoted educational and networking events for students and the broader community.

Managed the Student Developer & Mentorship Program at Yale University ITS. Provided training and mentorship to all student employees, guided team leads in project software development process, and worked with students responsible for client outreach related to projects. Mentored students on projects, provided essential architecture guidance, resolved difficult technical and security issues, and interacted with various ITS units. Developed standardized practices, good coding and deployment methodologies, and enhanced the student learning experience.Guided students in organizing entrepreneurial events and collaborations for the Yale and New Haven developer communities, brought in speakers on relevant and interesting topics, hosting events such as hack nights, hackathons, socials, and technology-focused user groups.Also served as a developer on custom development projects as necessary.

Developed and managed an internally-developed open-source tool (Reservations) used by over 20 groups on campus as well as external clients to manage equipment lending. Ran a team of up to 9 student developers, instituted a Scrum-like project management framework, interfaced with both clients and ITS staff, involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. Worked with program manager on the Student Developer and Mentorship program to enhance program strategy.

Co-creator and organizer of Hackathonukah 2014, the hackathon of lights, a 25 hour technology event that celebrates lights, programming, hardware and The Internet of Things. Additionally organized several other events over the course of the subsequent few years. Our mission was to create cutting edge technology events that are open and accessible to a diverse set of technologists.

Developed and refined basic product concepts, built functional MVP with 3rd-party tools and services, and ran initial user testing and oversaw product validation using MVP. Oversaw and participated in development of 1st-party platform, responsible for ongoing development, maintenance, and support. Developed marketing / brand assets for company and managed web presence, IT, and operations for the company.

Developed a comprehensive set of scripts to duplicate and scale complex CAD models; developed CAD models for current project.

Set up and maintained new print and file server; set up and maintained new FTP server; developed and set up employee database and timesheet system.

Managed student operators; Created and deployed templates for the Computer Center Macs; Fully documented template and template-creation process

Maintain school-wide computer network, troubleshoot and repair both software and hardware issues, set-up and install computers; Assist users, both faculty and students, with various computer issues.

Contacted patients and doctors to follow-up and collect current information for database updates; met with department head and other interns to plan future database upkeep.

Collected and organized patient data for future study on Laparoscopic Surgery; Developed a system for the digital storage of patient records using Access, created and linked several databases for easy and efficient storage and retrieval, wrote a tutorial on database use.
