As a professional rooted in emergency medicine, my journey began in high-stakes, front-line situations that often brought me to reflect on what could have prevented those emergencies. One defining moment was responding to a call at a construction site, where a worker had fallen and needed resuscitation. It was a stark reminder that emergencies often have organizational roots, and it pushed me to explore how organizations themselves could build resilience and prevent critical incidents from occurring in the first place.For over a decade, I’ve combined my expertise in emergency response with organizational consulting, focusing on the human factors that determine success or failure. My approach is multidisciplinary, bridging the practical protocols of emergency medicine with innovative principles in design and strategy. This journey has enriched my understanding of resilience—not only at the personal level but also for entire organizations and communities.Today, my work is dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations to cultivate resilience proactively, enabling them to navigate crises with foresight and adaptability.
