Oreva Atanya is a problem solver, author, executive, board advisor and academic who is passionate about the sustainable development and transformation of African economies and communities. She leads Sustainability at the prestigious Lagos Business School and serves as a lead facilitator designing and delivering sustainability and circular economy sessions at the LBS Sustainability Centre (LBSSC), Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) and the Nigeria Climate Innovation Centre (NCIC). In her role at the LBS Sustainability Centre, Oreva leads the globally recognised Knowledge Centre in its work supporting organisations and leaders across sectors to positively impact society and integrate sustainability/ESG practices.Apart from teaching and consulting, Oreva’s work includes leading industry projects and studies in the areas of sustainability, circular economy, sustainable and inclusive finance, sustainable food systems, social innovation, corporate social impact assessment, nonprofit management and so on. She is the author of ‘Triple Bottom Line of Corporate Sustainable Development: Comparative Study of Sustainable Development Practices in the United Kingdom and Nigerian Oil and Gas Industries’. Oreva is an Alumnus of the LBS Senior Management Programme, a Certified Project Manager (CPM), International Project Management Professionals and holds a Project Management in Controlled Environments (PRINCE2 Foundation) Qualification. She also designs and implements impact projects with organisations including the Coca-Cola Company, Tolaram Group, Ford Foundation, ACT Foundation, and World Economic Forum.Oreva Atanya actively advises corporate organizations, social enterprises, impact-focused startups and NGOs working in Africa. She serves on the board of nonprofit organisations focused on youth development and environmental conservation and regeneration. Oreva is married to Mr Efeoghene Victor Atanya, she enjoys spending time with children and family.
