About Andrew Goldsmith
I have had extensive prior experience as a consultant and researcher in various areas of the criminal justice system, especially on issues of police governance and reform. More recently I have focused on cybercrime and challenges to tackling organized crime. Among my prior consultancies have been contracts for Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission, United Nations Development Programme, Colombian government, Crime and Corruption Commission (Queensland), Corruption and Crime Commission (Western Australia), Victorian Ombudsman, Courts Victoria, Open Society Justice Initiative, Queensland Corrections, and the Home Office (England and Wales). A lot of my focus has been on organizational culture and governance in the area of policing and corrections. Recent research has related to technology and its impact on how crimes are committed as well as impacts on criminal justice processes.
