(The mission of the NAPO-South Florida Chapter is to develop, lead and promote professional organizers and the organizing industry in South Florida.)Key Responsibilities:• Serve as a Board Director• Be designated Board liaison for website, electronic communications, and newsletter when applicable• Maintain vision, general direction and management of website, newsletter, and electronic communications, with Board approval. Assist committee chairs to plan and manage improvements or major alterations• Supervise and support committee chairpersons, ensuring functional maintenance of information on website, newsletter, and electronic communications• Prior to vacating directorship, transition and orient incoming Communications and Technology Director• Coordinate/send meetings and other NAPO-SF announcements. • Perform other duties as requested and/or delegated by the President.

South Florida

• Be considered the Executive Officer for the NAPO South Florida Chapter• Direct the Chapter’s business and activities• Create agenda & preside over NAPO South Florida Board of Directors meetings and Chapter meetings• Report at Chapter meetings on current activities at NAPO National• Recommend suitable replacements for Board vacancies subject to Executive Committee Approval• Approve communications representing the Chapter to prospective members and the public at large• Serve as liaison to NAPO National and other Chapters• Be permitted, but not required, to act as a member of all Chapter committees• Recognize volunteer(s) at Chapter meetings at her/his discretion• Serves as the authority to cancel Chapter meetings and events in the event of an emergency.• Perform other duties as may be prescribed by the Chapter Board of Directors or by the NAPO Board of Directors. • Approve obligations of the Chapter, sign contracts and manage subcontractors• Issue list of monthly meeting dates to Board• Plan strategic planning sessions. Follow-up to assess outcomes six (6) months later including a review that encompasses job position and overall Board goals

Key Responsibilities:• Review and approve Star Chapter membership applications;• Coordinate membership renewal process with Director of Communications and Technology• Oversee hospitality and registration at Chapter meetings• Respond to all inquiries regarding membership• Conduct new member orientation• Chair the membership committee• Monitor compliance with categories of NAPO membership• Oversee and maintain Chapter membership database and inform NAPO Headquarters of changes on a monthly basis• Confirm eligibility of Chapter Board candidates as NAPO members and NAPO South Florida member status• Review member survey data• Perform other duties as requested and/or delegated by the President
