I’ve dedicated my life to creating beautiful tailoring, crafting pieces that exude artisan quality, while embracing each unique personality, upholding the belief that everyone deserves to feel their best in their clothes.A dream was realised in 2007, of creating a haven for those searching for more than their style - a celebration of body-shape, individuality and self-empowerment with the opening of Orhan London Tailoring. One size does not fit all - particularly for women - and our mission was to create a safe-space where anybody can come to enjoy the magic of bespoke tailoring: liberated from the unconscious biases, irregular sizing, and preconceived notions that often come with shopping off-the-peg. We are all aware of the need to care not just for each other, but for the environment too. The clothing we make using natural materials, are often pieces that can be cherished for decades to come, contributing in our own small way, to a sustainable approach to dressing. In addition to our bespoke tailoring we encourage people to alter their ill fitting clothes so they can enjoy wearing them, as an alternative to throwing them out and buying new. Tailoring started for me in the 80’s, when my father thought it would be better for me to learn the craft under the exacting eyes of his fellow craftsmen, at his bespoke tailoring studios in London, rather than pursue my other passion, to become a footballer! It was not long before I was developing patterns for world-famous designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Rifat Ozbek and Arabella Pollen. Inspired by the limitless possibilities of bespoke tailoring, I was fortunate to push the boundaries and create iconic pieces for clients such as Princess Diana, The Spice Girls and rock legend Mick Jagger.I am proud of the work we do at Orhan London Tailoring, our inclusive business supports and celebrates people, regardless of shape, sexuality, race or background to feel their absolute best through the clothes they wear.
