I joined How To Cake It in 2015 as their lead editor and first full-time employee, and I grew to direct and produce the popular youtube show of the same name. I moved to a part-time contract in January 2023 to be able to pursue different creative projects. How To Cake It is one of the world’s largest digitally native food brands, trusted by a community of over 13 million as the leading authority on all things cake, baking & sweets. How To Cake It is also a self-funded, female-founded brand with one of the top YouTube food channels in the world, an online store, and a bestselling cookbook (published by HarperCollins). The brand has been featured in all major media from Forbes to Good Morning America and has worked closely with big brands like Disney, Walmart, Google, and Mattel to promote their goods and services to the engaged How To Cake It community.

I specialize in mid to long-form storytelling and absolutely love thinking of new ways to get across story points. Accessibility, pacing, and narrative economy are essential to me. Reach out to work together!
