As part of our business development efforts, It is my role to identify, negotiate and sign agreements with strategic partners (international pharmaceutical companies), I was successful in establishing a JV with the 4th largest pharmaceutical company in Latin America. and established a partnership with the only Swiss company that meets Brazil’s regulatory requirements (a year-long process)..In addition, I develop joint programs with universities for educating and training physicians and pharmacists (e.g. in collaboration with the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology).The company operates a line of pharma products for pharmacies, including the start of clinical trials, and a portfolio of 4 technology companies in the fields of Medical Device and Agritech.

Sharapplus and Top Belinson - Established a chain of five medical centers throughout the country and a 50-rooms rehabilitation hotel for heart & orthopedic patients, from idea to profitability. Prepared and implemented strategic plans for each of the centers, in close collaboration with the BOD including business development plans to expand in Israel and abroad, Managed all financial aspects: budget, cash flow and monthly reconciliation of budget vs. actual for each centre and for the Group in its entirety.Responsible for all hire & fire processes: recruiting and managing 300 (independent) medical specialists, the best in the country, and a staff of ~100, providing mentoring, professional guidance and support to the senior managers. Created and led all sales and marketing activities, customer service, telemarketing and a tele-meeting system to support the clinics and generate a flow of customers.

Secured the franchise for a unique technology that treats excess sweating, (from a US company) and established a chain of clinics in the UK (London), Turkey (Istanbul) and Israel, each as an independent P&L unit. I prepared and carried out the business and strategic plans and established financial activities working closely with international CPA firms to comply with international tax laws. In addition, I managed recruiting processes of local personnel, led communications with local suppliers, etc. In addition, I recruited private investors.

Acting CEO and VP Marketing & Business Development of IMER, an international medical services company and a subsidiary of Hadassah hospital. Responsible for managing a team of 40 Sales & Marketing employees in Israel as well as dozens of sales and marketing agents in the former USSR and Eastern Europe. Exported technologies and advanced treatments from Hadassah Hospital to Eastern Europe and brought patients to Hadassah for multidisciplinary treatments unavailable to them in their home country.Created the marketing strategy for penetrating into international markets which led to establishing operations in Moscow, Kiev, Bucharest, and Tbilisi. Prepared and implemented an annual business plan that generated over 20 M$ income in 2011Worked closely with Ministers of Health in the target countries to solve various issues and managed special projects such as training local staff (rehabilitation techniques, neo-natal care), and establishing an oncology hospital in Moscow.

Established Hadassah’s first quality of life private hospital, in collaboration with all Hospital Ward Heads to create synergies between the planned 15 wards. Prepared and implemented a business plan that generated annual revenues of over 6 M$. Established the business development, marketing, sales, PR, customer service, telemarketing and tele meeting infrastructure. In order to brand and promote the hospital, created a nationwide series of medical conferences in various fields. Signed agreements with the Beitar Jerusalem Group (sports and physiotherapy), El Al and the Israel Corporation. Created customer arrays for various medical departments such as laser eye treatment, esthetics, sleep disturbance and snoring, tourist clinic, sports medicine and physiotherapy center, ACL rehabilitation complementary medical orthopedics department, and more.Managed Board of Directors meetings with Hadassah hospital representatives and presented data to the American Board of Directors.
