As a development chemist my responsibilities were to carry out experiments and collect data to support the development team. My chemical work was almost all electroanalytical, but does include some colorimetry and other techniques. Findings were presented internally or published as white papers. Other work outside the laboratory included some engineering challenges using specialist fluoroplastics, which lead to a patent. I was also responsible chemical safety and COSSH assessment.
