Led the Customer Service and Logistics Operations departments of c25 staff at Mobile Fun Limited ensuring management development and unifying the departments towards delivering against one single order fulfilment process.

Launched and piloted the UK Franchise Operations in Birmingham/West Midlands for Canadian company 1-800-Got-Junk as the company’s first venture into Europe and a key part of the company’s International expansion programme. Offering premium junk removal services towards both business and consumer markets.

Managed the sports and recreation division of c15 staff at Pertemps People Development Group which traded on a not-for-profit basis within a public sector and social enterprise environment.Recruited > 2,500 new learners against all KPI’s and in conjunction with learn direct national marketing plans, generating >£1m in revenue in year one for Pertemps People Development Group.

Built and implemented a national referral network which generated sufficient sales lead enquiries spanning across three years, leading to the sign up of > 500k new customers onto a new-groundbreaking residential UK energy tariff supplied by Texas Utilities (TXU).Recruited and led the entire national field sales team of c70 staff which centred on forging and sustaining innovative network of key accounts/partnerships across both public and private sector organisations that have either a direct or indirect relationship with our target market and work in partnership to promote our winning product. Texas Utilities utilised a range of routes to market including paid, direct marketing and below the line community focused marketing.

Recruited and effectively trained c40 staff at Texas Utilities (TXU) which were required to deliver the prepayment metering customer service for its UK consumers. Centralised UK energy prepayment metering customer service under the guidance of external consultancy and the Customer Services Manager at Texas Utilities (TXU).

Achievement: Winning with customers 1994 (£2,000 - 1st prize) - A customer service competition winner with a case study which summarised my actions as “Oriean dealt with Mrs Ridley with compassion yet still looked after Eastern Electricity Interests”.
