Led a department-funded research team under the guidance of Dr. Nicholas Valentino and constructed survey questions to examine the relationship between party partisanship and the safety perception of common vaccines and COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy.Fielded our survey to a stratified sample of 1,000 Americans through YouGov in March 2022 to obtain data.Conducted data analysis using Stata, revealing that Republicans perceived the COVID-19 vaccine as more dangerous compared to less politicized vaccines such as Influenza and NMR vaccines and were more hesitant towards the COVID-19 vaccine than Democrats.
