I am a dedicated Cyber Security Analyst at Bowhead, with a focus on safeguarding the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN) against cyber threats. My role involves analyzing Intrusion Detection System alerts to identify unauthorized activity, mitigating potential impacts, and developing countermeasures to prevent future attacks. I am committed to providing a 24/7 incident handling capability, ensuring timely and effective responses to cyber incidents, and conducting forensic analysis to uncover and contain threats.Before joining Bowhead, I served as a Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer at Equinix, where I excelled in monitoring equipment across multiple sites and resolving issues to maintain optimal network performance. My ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and collaborate with engineers and technicians was crucial in ensuring the reliability of network infrastructure.My career began in the United States Air Force, where I gained over 5 years of experience and honed my skills in team collaboration, attention to detail, and problem solving. As a Program Manager, I managed the MQ-9 Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) program, overseeing deployments and ensuring compliance with safety and security standards. Prior to that, as an MQ-9 RPA Maintainer, I was responsible for inspections, repairs, and modifications of aircraft systems.I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University (2024) and multiple CompTIA certifications, including A+, Network+, Security+, CySA+, and Pentest+. I am passionate about advancing the cybersecurity field and contributing to the mission of protecting our nation's interests and security.
