- Utilizing my electrical background to help build relationships and manage accounts in the industrial sector

- Sales development training program- Worked with the engineering team to increase product knowledge and help find solutions for customers in the automation and control sector- For the second half of the program I worked alongside the GTA inside sales teams, helping work on a number of different accounts and learning to build relationships from the inside. Some of the key accounts include Ford Assembly Plant in Oakville, Martinrea and Lakeside Process Controls.

- Blacks Pub in Whistler Village

Had the opportunity to be an Emergency EA, Supply teacher and Lunchtime monitor during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

- Responsible for starting the takeoffs on many jobs. This entails creating quotes for equipment of companies that HTS represents. - Making sure the equipment meets the specs and are prepared to be bid on by different mechanical contractors.- Creating purchase orders for all the equipment required. - Responsible for coordinating with clients and certain product companies to request quotes and ensure our selections meet the specifications required.- Worked under the supervision of the contracting sales team, comprised of Nick Amlin and Brock Hutchison. Types of projects:- HVAC equipment in Office buildings, University Building, Apartment buildings, etc.- Contracting sales team was in charge of quoting the boilers, fan coils, HVAC fans, domestic water heaters, unit heaters, VFD’s and the heating coils.- Used the website TRAX to record all the information that is used across the company.

- Worked on many different electrical projects that used the design software Autocad and AGI lighting.- Responsible for coordinating with clients and certain utility companies by phone or email when drawings were ready to be sent out for review.- Worked under the supervision of many different project managers and would help them set up drawings, print out drawings and other tasks that needed to be done in the design process.Types of projects:- Pole line designs- Power and lighting layouts for commercial buildings- Hydro and street lighting designs for subdivisions and parking lots- Designing Panel schedules and single line diagrams

- Worked 40 to 60-hour weeks. - In charge of hiring and scheduling the employees who worked on the road.- Responsible of driving the vehicles up to 2 hours away depending on the location of the job.- In charge of talking to clients and coordinating where the most appropriate area to perform work to ensure safety for the workers and clients.- This opportunity improved my problem solving and leadership skills in a big way.
