Reported to the Network Infrastructure Manager with responsibility for overseeing the mobilisation, demobilisation and upgrade of Sydney Water communications and network infrastructure.►Drove the full project lifecycle strategy that has enabled Sydney Water to quickly respond to existing and future IT network and communication infrastructure development needs.►Ensured that an effective change control program was in place to mitigate potential business continuity risk►Provided subject matter expertise to the business on IT infrastructure improvement, project risk and security management, including deployment of UPS design & installation across 100+ sites.►Replaced entire LAN and WAN environment with converged network solution for a major network upgrade across 100+ sites, and over 5000 users. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS★ Deployed and managed the move and implementation of network infrastructure for the primary 24x7 call centre servicing over 4.7 million people in Sydney, the Illawarra and the Blue Mountains.★ Developed a sustainability program that re-deployed structured cabling components and effectively re-used over 90% of products decommissioned providing annual savings.★ Decommissioned over 30 medium to large sites; ranging from office environments, including head office housing over 1500 staff and management, and the refit and fit out of over 42 sites, both Green Field and Brown Field.
