Winter of 2006 I took a glimpse at my future. I was a lawyer doing my MBA staying in Chicago for a two week course at the Chicago University Business School. While strolling down Navy Pier, I mistakenly entered a breathtaking art fair for sculptures, objects, functional art and design. I was overtaken by the beauty of the objects.2 years later I was managing Litvak Gallery, participating in the fair with my own extraordinary booth displaying glass artworks of a renowned Italian artist. Since then I have participated with my gallery in numerous art fairs, in the USA and China displaying work of the artists I represent and have opened numerous glass art and contemporary art exhibitions in the gallery. I came across glass artworks for the first time, in 2006 at the art fair in Chicago and I have been intrigued by the material ever since. The techniques, the reflections, changing of the artworks throughout the day due to changing lighting conditions, make the glass sculptures very special. I take pride and joy in working with the artists and representing them and in finding a match between an artwork and a collector or purchaser. I have worked with architects, interior designer, art lovers and beauty lovers, assisting them to find the right sculpture or painting. My passion is for beauty. Design and art go hand in hand. Combining art in a new house, new office or public area brings a new dimension to the space and definitely brings in a unique touch. Artists work and create as a part of their being. We hold works that we handpicked and love. Finding a new home for an artwork is challenging and rewarding. In addition, commissioning artists is another activity I love participating in. I personally love being a bridge between the vision of the collector, architect or interior designer and the vision of the artist.
