Publicist role handling national, regional and online press for Latitude festival. I dealt with key journalists across all arts sectors with a focus on music and comedy. I helped devise the annual campaign strategies, including creative angles and pitches.Day-to-day publicist duties included media relations and securing coverage, arranging interviews with talent, writing press releases, reporting and managing event accreditation. Other onsite responsibilities included arranging artist interviews and escorting press, sourcing on-site stories, writing and distributing daily media announcements, managing photographers and photo-calls, and managing the box office.
