Member of the EMEA Equity Transaction Services team. Playing a key role supporting our Sales Trading Desks as well as working closely with our back office settlement teams and Client Relationship Managers.

• Provide first line support for Broker queries relating to trade confirmation, clearing and settlement of trades in all major asset classes (FX and Fixed Income).• Reporting to Institutional Sales Trading, Currency Trading, Fixed income and Bonds trading desks on a daily basis regarding all outstanding trades.• Monitoring and mitigation of risk throughout the trade life cycle, which involves processing all incoming Client requests and dealing with settlement related queries, fails and investigations.• Managing fixed income trades in both international and domestic markets until settlement stage through reporting on various matching systems• Coordinating information from custodian, client and internal parties to ensure all systems are updated prior to new account funding• Responsible for exception management handling for the foreign exchange and money market confirmation matching process for HSBC Canada and HSBC Bermuda, Corporate and Direct Dealing Clients trades.• Responsible for the release of payments to meet currency cut-off times and perform netting confirmations on a daily basis• Gained knowledge of widely using industry used matching systems such as GTSS, FX All and MISYS.
