On completion of my master’s degree, I sought some experience to improve my knowledge of SEO and WordPress. I reached out to a local web development company who were open to the idea of me coming in to improve on my skills and abilities.During my time there, I was given the opportunity to explore platforms such as WordPress, Google Analytics and Photoshop to the fullest. I gained a good grasp of best practices for website design and development as well as insight into SEO in terms of the importance of keywords and Google's ranking system. I also furthered my knowledge and understanding of data analysis using google analytics.

For my third-year work placement, I took part in the graduate programme offered by Enterprise Rent A Car. In this role, I had to deal with issues such as damaged cars, customer complaints, late arrivals and more. Logistical management was a key aspect of my role to organise incoming and outgoing cars and assigning the correct car to each customer. Every day I was dealing with a wide variety of international clients including top business executives, CEO’s, army personal and more. My friendliness and communication skills enabled me to build great rapport with customers, often despite language barriers, which enabled me to be in the branches top three monthly commissions earners every month. My ability to upsell insurance and car categories impressed not only my branch managers but also the general manager and VP of Germany, Todd Dixon. I built a great rapport with Mr Dixon and on several occasions when senior members of Enterprise Rent a Car were visiting from the USA, he always ensured they watched how I engaged and dealt with customers to see if they could take any learnings from my approach.
