As a Global Product Technology intern at ADP, I joined the Talent Management Solutions (TMS) team. During my time as part of this team, developed a Java web application that allows other TMS Software Developers to view and change log levels of TMS java web applications during runtime. This application handles log changes for local instances of TMS applications, but also the propagation of a log level changes throughout any and all servers running TMS applications simultaneously. I achieved the following goals whilst developing this application: • Conducted the development of the application using Eclipse and Java EE 6. • Managed dependencies and building with Apache Maven. • Deployed and ran the application using Apache Tomcat. • Utilized frameworks and libraries including but not limited to HttpServlet, Java Messaging Service, IBM Websphere MQ, Apache Log4J. • Handled dependency injection with the Spring framework. • Used HTML, CSS, and Javascript for designing a clean modern user interface and user experience. • Employed proper version control using Git and Bitbucket. • Achieved continuous integration with Jenkins. • Documented the code using Javadocs and traditional in-line comments. • Wrote a step-by-step guide on how to use the tool with other applications as well as documentation of the tool’s technical background and components.

As part of the Interiors Engineering department at Delta Air Lines Technical Operations, I've been able to aid in numerous projects as well as develop the necessary skills to take on projects independently in the near future.My biggest contribution so far has been in the implementation of Gogo Inc's latest in-flight internet technology, 2KU, on Delta's B737-800 fleet. I've aided in design decisions, troubleshooting, and documentation.

The Brain Trauma Assessment Protocols project is the continuation of my previous research experience at the Opportunity Research Scholars program. Our team grew from 3 to 8 students, and the project has been transferred to the Vertically Integrated Projects program.Our current priority as research assistants working in the Brain Trauma Assessment Protocols project consists of developing a mobile data collection application for both the Android and iOS platform. As the iOS development team leader, I've focused my efforts in designing the program architecture of the application itself. Using Swift and Xcode, I designed most of the application's elements and user interface, consisting of several view controllers, many of which I delegated to my teammates. Furthermore, we used GitHub to seamlessly merge all of our collaborations. Through team meetings and effective communication, we were able to create the first prototype of the application.Note: Due to the private nature of this project, I am not allowed to disclose the source files.

As an electrical engineering intern at Sto Corp, I was able to work on several important projects, and gained experience in the engineering of the construction materials manufacturing industry. One of the projects I worked on included the standardization of the pallet design across all three of Sto Corp US plants. I was also involved development and implementation of a program for generating custom barcodes for all Sto Corp products. One of the major projects was taking on the challenge of improving and updating the equipment calibrations database system and developed a new protocol for its maintenance. And of course, I aided in the in the troubleshooting of electrical components of the newly implemented automation systems.

Speech recognition and analysis has been used to diagnose depression among patients. However, it hasn't been explored or researched in depth with patients suffering from Aphasia, a language disorder, mainly caused by strokes.As an Opportunity Research Scholar working with Dr. Elliot Moore and Stephanie Gillespie, I was responsible of engaging in a literature review and writing the segment on data entry methods of our project proposal, and developing a mobile data collection application for the iOS platform with the purpose of providing a constant stream of analyzable data to the lab environment, rather than the much slower process of having samples delivered monthly.The project was transferred to a different research program and renamed "Brain Trauma Assessment Protocols", for which I served as iOS Development Team Leader.
