I am a junior at the Rutgers Business School, and I am majoring in Supply Chain Management. Supply Chain Management has allowed me to see the intricate web of people, technology, processes, and functions that help deliver a company's product to the consumer. My coursework in Project Management, Risk management, and Green purchasing, and my cross-functional team leadership experiences have given me the tools and skill set necessary to do work the right way. I have created Gantt Charts for my own workload, WBS's for starting my own eCommerce business, and Scope Statements for class. I'm really excited to use all the skills I have developed to create and lead bigger projects with greater impacts. A project is only as good as the people working on it, the leadership behind it, and the support they receive. Being a Hispanic student fluent in Spanish, and my involvement with other Hispanics on and off-campus has shown me that working and connecting with others are very different things.
