After almost 22 years together, 19 years of marriage, 2 (beautiful, wonderful, amazing) kids and 5 adventurous relocations (or 8. It really depends who is doing the counting), Hidai & I decided it is time to really commit to each other, and we set out on our newest adventure - opening our very own consulting business.Though it is true that we both do very different things, we are both basically helping people and companies reach where they want to go.

I am a big believer that in life, you can achieve anything you set your mind to. All you need is perseverance, a lot of hard work, and just a little bit of hutzpah. This is why when we decided, way back in 2009, that what we want to do in life is live in as many places as we possibly can, I set out to study and master LinkedIn and the world of job-searching. Since then we were relocated to Gibraltar, London, Berlin, Malta, Galway & Dublin and got offers from quite a few other companies around the world. In 2015 I decided to take all the knowledge I accumulated to the next level and ever since then I have been using it to advise (in Hebrew & English) people who are looking to build and advance their LinkedIn profile and traditional CV, and help them further their career in their current location or through relocation to a different country (or continent).

Own Your Story. It sounds so easy doesn't it? But it really isn't. It took me years to own my and our story, to be able to stand tall and talk about the hardships and the rough times, about everything that I saw as our failures along the way. Over the years I've learned you can only own your story when you're at peace with it. When it is no longer about the failures but about the way. Today my story is mainly adventures and jokes. Today my story is the basis for my workshops & talks about job searching, relocations, cultural differences, LinkedIn, and networking. Today, I use my story to (hopefully) make others feel less alone.

Sometimes we all need a little something extra.Sometimes things just don't "click".Sometimes it seems like there are no good answers.After going through all those "sometimes" I decided to search for the answers elsewhere, and studied a huge array of more and less traditional courses and methods to help myself and others in cleaning out the negative and opening up to the new possibilities that come from the clean, positive space of love, light and cake (obviously, you have to have cakes).It is not about fortune-telling, or talking to ghosts (though that would be cool), it is about believing, about the freedom and courage to stand tall and say to yourself and the world - this is me, this is what I want and this is what I deserve, and about living from a positive, empowered point of view.And in less flaky terms - it's coaching, mentoring and supporting people who are making a change, opening a new business, starting something new, reinventing themselves - and need someone to help them navigate the waters. We talk about ideas, branding, marketing, networking, we overcome the stressful moments, we build & grow the business together.

The network of Local Enterprise Offices (31 across Ireland) assist entrepreneurs, start-ups and existing small businesses in accessing financial, training and expert mentoring supports, for free or a subsidised affordable cost.They serve as a first stop shop providing the expertise to help small businesses to get off the ground and to work with them to grow and expand.The Mentor Programme is designed to match up the knowledge, skills, insights and entrepreneurial capability of experienced business practitioners with small business owner / managers who need practical and strategic one-to-one advice and guidance.As a mentor in the Local Enterprise Office for the Dún Laoghaire - Rathdown area (LEO DLR), providing independent, informed observation and strategic & pragmatic advice, to new and existing businesses in the local community.This can include: identifying problems and suggesting areas for improvement, helping with the decision making process, understanding & adopting relevant Digital tools, reviewing & improving CX, and more, depending on the individual business.

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown, County Dublin, Ireland

I am running for inclusion, innovation, and action.I want to give a voice to people who don’t have it but make up a huge percentage of our community, promote an innovative environment that supports out-of-the-box ideas and different perspectives instead of “but this is how we have always done things”, and most of all I want to lead action – I know we can do more for the people in our community who are struggling.County councils in Ireland are responsible for the provision of public services and facilities such as roads, traffic, planning, housing, economic and community development, environmental protection, recreation and amenity services, fire services, and maintaining the register of electors.Councils also play a significant part in supporting economic development and enterprise at a local level.

Gibraltar, London, Berlin & Malta

A Few More Steps is my story, and as such it has been through as many changes as I have over the years. It started out as a personal friends & family blog in Hebrew, changed into an English "Mum Blog" about life as an expat in London and raising children, especially a child with disabilities in this day and age, morphed into a fun with kids in Berlin and travel blog, and ended up as the story of our fourth relocation to Malta. And through it all, it kept my weird sense of humour, mixed up with some tears and lots of chocolate and laundry references.Over the years the blog has become one of the top 100 Mum Blogs in the UK (and top 50 in the family travel blogs) and won a few achievements like Blog of the Day and Good Reads, from the leading family-blogging organisations in the UK - Mumsnet, Britmums & Tots 100. At its height the blog had 10,000 monthly pageviews and about 8,000 unique visitors a month.Through the blog I have worked in a variety of ways, including reviews, workshops, events & interviews with companies like Tesco, Barclays, NatWest, Good Housekeeping Magazine, Nivea, Cravendale, Dove, and Walkers. Oh, and I also got to meet the (then) UK Prime Minister, David Cameron, in a forum discussing internet safety for children.

Berlin Area, Germany

Berlin gave me two main things - amazing photos and the opportunity to travel. In the year and a half we lived in Berlin we took 15 trips in and outside of Germany, and each and every one of those trips had a story, a list of recommendations, and a few hundred photos. Through the use of social media platforms like Facebook groups and Instagram I have turned those trips, and everyday life in Berlin (mainly the amazing food we constantly ate) into an engaging story and received offers of work as a "social influencer".I also interviewed for the Israeli radio.In April 2016 we decided that the routine between the trips is overrated, so we took two kids, four suitcases and one guitar and went on an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime, mind-boggling cross-Europe trip that lasted 4 months and took us through 22 countries.Don't take my word for it, watch the video below (there is also a map) :)

Gibraltar

If there is one thing I can't live without (kids and husband aside), it is definitely cakes.When we moved to Gibraltar in December 2009, there was nowhere to buy homemade cakes.In April 2010 I opened the first stall in the Ocean Village fair selling home-baked biscuits, cookies and cakes.Orli's Corner operated both in fairs and companies, selling high quality, home-made, fresh baked goods, and opened the door to a new area of baking in Gibraltar.

Israel

I opened a translation business, translating papers from English to Hebrew for university students. In a year I had become the official translator for the Psychology and the Education faculties, and worked with the student association.

Haifa Area, Israel

In charge of payroll for 100s of part time, full time and temporary employees for a leading HR & professional service company.Serving as first point of contact for all employees, answering all questions & enquiries, resolving all issues and maintaining good relationship both with the employees and senior management.Responsible for all employee data and reports for senior management.Maintaining up to date knowledge & expertise on all laws, rules and regulations regarding employment.

Haifa, Israel

Responsible for the monthly bookkeeping for SMEs, business owners and self-employed individuals, including VAT, Income tax, and PAYE related taxes.Responsible for end of year profit and loss reports and yearly taxes for individuals and companies. Working closely with the head accountant preparing for special audits, ensuring the clients are ready and successful.Acting as a first point of contact for the clients, assisting with every issue and ensuring their satisfaction
